Beginners Muaythai Classes
Have you always wanted to start muaythai but weren’t sure where to begin? Or maybe you have tried a couple of lessons but were fearful of holding people back? PTJ Muaythai Gym hosts a range of Beginner’s Muaythai Classes for those looking to make a start with people just like you.
We ensure a our Beginners Class have a 10:1 maximum student to Our classes are capped at 10 people maximum to ensure more attention to detail on your technique.
What’s in a Beginners Class?
The Beginners Muaythai classes are designed to help you get started on your Muaythai journey. They cover all the fundamentals:
- How to wrap your hands
- Basic Footwork for Muaythai
- Basic Defence for Muaythai
- Basic striking for Muaythai
- Padwork and bag work
The classes are also set-up to ensure that you have a basic understanding of how to use the equipment in the gym so you are ready to join our other group classes. It covers basic use of the following Muaythai equipment:
- Skipping ropes
- Boxing bags
- Thai pads, focus mitts, kick shields
We have a variety of pricing options, however we like to recommend the $99 2 Week introduction pack which includes a set of gloves. This is a great, cost effective way to determine if you’d like to continue on. But we know you will as muaythai is very addictive!
Class Days / Times
- Mondays and Wednesdays from 8pm – 9pm.
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm – 8pm.
